In this paper a nonlinear quantum optical model that generalizes the Rabi model was presented. The proposed model is very general, but it was still possible to find some of their properties. The model consists of a two-level atom interacts with a single mode of a quantum electromagnetic field; the nonlinear interaction is proposed, except for certain values of the parameters; The Rabi model and the Jaynes-Cummings model are included as special cases. that the proposed model Hamiltonian commutes with the parity operator turns out to be of fundamental importance, because it allows to divide the Hilbert space of the problem into two orthogonal subspaces, subspaces parity. The wave function was developed in terms of the basis of each parity space, this allowed to find a pair of systems of ordinary differential equations of first order coupled, equivalent to the original Schrödinger equation. By analogy between the propagation in time and propagation in space, the quantum system is connected with a pair of arrays of dielectric waveguides, to identify the pair of quantum equations systems with the system of differential equations governing light propagation in an array of waveguides. This analogy allows to study quantum aspects from the classical point of view and vice versa. The quantum dynamical variables can be observed and measured in terms of appropriate variables of the array waveguides. Average number of photons, average energy of atomic excitation, Berry's atomic phase, the temporal autocorrelation of function wave or fidelity and von Neumann entropy are expressed in terms of the electric field intensity and the phase difference of light in each of the waveguides.
